This will drive conservatives crazy (video)

Watching Senator Al Franken be officially welcomed to the Senate will undoubtedly drive right-wingers crazy.

What is yet another example of conservative hypocrisy, Republicans are doing everything they to discredit and diminish Franken, as if someone who was formally active in Hollywood is somehow unqualified for office. But the icon of the right - Ronald Reagan - acted in movies with chimps. That's perfectly fine in the eyes of the right, but being a part of SNL is morally unacceptable.

Sit back and enjoy this...Franken is going to be real thorn in the side of Republicans.

Fox TV: All hypocrisy, all the time

When I started this blog it was going to be titled something about hypocrisy, because conservatives and right-wingers are so eternally hypocritical.

Well thanks to the folks at Daily Kos and Media Matters and Crooks and Liars, that conservative hypocrisy is documented and exposed on a daily basis.

Latest case in point is Fox getting all upset about a former employee at ABC working in the White House. It's a crime for Dems, but it's totally okay for Republicans to have Fox's Tony Snow as W.'s mouthpiece?

Great video here from Jed Lewison capturing that stunning hypocrisy for all the world to see.

Harper's election call based on colossal lie

When Stephen Harper called the October 14th election, he said he did so because he had no choice; that parliament was no longer working. In various interviews he called the opposition parties ‘unproductive’, ‘obstructionist’ and ‘dysfunctional.’

That Harper has the audacity of calling others obstructionist when his own party has written a 200 user’s guide on how to keep things from getting done shows just how much a cold, calculating and massively hypocritical liar Harper is.

To accuse your opponents of slowing down government when it is his party that has gone so far as to publish a manual on how to paralyze government proceedings, shows that Harper will say and do anything – anything – to get elected.

Accusing your opponents of doing something you yourself are doing is also a classic Republican tactic.

Reporter Don Martin has a copy of the Conservative’s ‘How-To’ manual for shutting down the government, and there have been press reports that he has been offered $10,000 to go public with manual.

Here’s hoping two things happen:

1)    one of the opposition parties will pay him the ten grand so the Canadian public can see once and for all what a scam this election call is; and

2)    that once the 200 page Conservative handbook on how to slow down and frustrate the democratic process is made public, that the media will call Harper out for his breathtaking hypocrisy.
